this was painted under a high daylight bulb...the result is that it turned out way more orange than it looked while I was working on it. 5x7" oil on canvas panel, reference is from a detail shot from Missoni spring 2008.

Jacob Collins

love these! love the muted palette; he makes it look like the scenes were under an overcast sky. I know some people think realistic paintings are just redundant (which I do sometimes), but when expertly done like they are here, there's just a mood and a richness that comes from the paint that you can't get from a photograph.
